When Photoshop was unavailable for my use, I used Adobe Illustrator to restore a heavily damaged photo. I imported the image into Illustrator and used Image Trace to convert it into vectors that I could then manipulate. When scaled back to wallet size, it gives the photo a clean and renewed look.
