I began this project by sketching 2D letterforms on Illustrator. Using photoshop, I created a GIF to visualize how I wanted to use the 3D translations. I chose the word "HID" to play on its meaning of concealment, with the potential to hide something inside. The 3D letterforms were made using poster board, each one by hand. I created new GIFs in photoshop tying the digital concept to the physical execution.
